I teach Dru Yoga to groups both in person and online.

You’ll find my classes welcoming and accessible. I like to keep them small, creating a supportive space where you can unplug from daily life while strengthening both body and mind.

A typical class includes a blend of lively activations, flowing sequences, classical yoga postures, breathwork, and deep relaxation. I also draw on techniques such as affirmations, mudras, and empowering visualisations to bring balance on physical, mental, and emotional levels.

Students often tell me how much they enjoy the sessions — “After just one class I felt taller!”, “The group was so welcoming, it didn’t matter that I couldn’t touch my toes”, and “I felt inspired to do some yoga at home.”
Sometimes we all need a little one-to-one support. My private yoga sessions offer a gentle, personalised approach for those who prefer individual attention or find it difficult to join a group class.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are, helping you move with greater ease, restore balance, and reconnect with your natural vitality. I offer a range of themed programmes — including Back Care, Well-being, Vitality, and Rejuvenation — to support your body and mind in feeling their best.

Clients often tell me how valuable these sessions are: “Working with Donna each week means I actually do my yoga practice — and I feel so much better for it!”

A Private Yoga Session is distinct from my Yoga Therapy work, which provides tailored programmes for specific health concerns.
I love sharing yoga with children and young people, helping them discover calm, confidence, and connection through movement and breath.
Whether in primary or secondary schools, or through community groups like girl guiding and youth clubs, my sessions bring joy, focus, and well-being that support learning and life beyond the classroom.

Teachers often tell me how the simple techniques we use help calm and focus their classes, while parents say their children love sharing what they’ve learned at home.
And the best feedback of all? Hearing the children say how much they enjoy the fun and relaxing things we do together.
I love sharing yoga with families of all ages, creating space for connection, laughter, and calm.
Each session is tailored to your family’s needs — whether it’s little ones sharing playful yoga with their parents, or teens and adults learning simple techniques to ease stress and restore balance together.

Family Yoga is a lovely way to move, breathe, and unwind as a team — strengthening not just your bodies, but your bonds too.

Families often tell me how much they enjoy the sessions — “My kids loved showing me the yoga moves they learned, and we even made a fun sequence together that we can practice at home. We all felt so relaxed afterwards!”
Why I choose Dru yoga?

I practiced a variety of exercise and stress reduction techniques including Pilates, Tai Chi, and Mindfulness Mediation (MBSR) for a number of years. Looking back these were all an attempt to alleviate physical pain and discomfort and settle and anxious and over-worked mind. They all helped, but in each ‘something’ was lacking.

Then I discovered Dru Yoga when a friend recommend a workshop to me.
It sounds like a cliché, but discovering Dru was totally life-changing for me! I just felt like it had that something that all the other practices were missing. It’s not something that’s easily described or explained, I began to think of it as the glue that stuck the jigsaw pieces of the other practices I was doing together. Since I’ve found I refer to it as the ‘Dru Magic’ and feel it comes from the passion, enthusiasm and love that goes into the teaching, sharing and general day-to-day running of Dru. This magic quality lives in the hearts and minds of Dru teachers.

After the workshop, I decided to do the Dru Yoga Foundation course to deepen my own yoga practice and before I knew it I has discovered the power of Dru Yoga to transform. I started training as a Dru Yoga teacher in 2014. My life continued to change in ways I never knew possible. I found it gave me the ability to manage back pain, as well as tools to transform my mental well-being. I also met some amazing people along the way. My confidence and self-esteem grew, my general health and stress levels improved and before I knew it, my previously stressful life felt so easier. It really was magic!

I feel my yoga practice has now become a corner stone of my life, and sharing these practices with others is truly delightful. If you'd like to experience a Dru yoga class, check out my classes, or get in touch with me. I'd be delighted to share these wonderful practices with you.
